Partnerships in action

To demonstrate how cooperation translates into programmes, enhanced skills and continuity of action

What this page shows

Cooperation is judged by what it achieves

Partnerships truly come into their own when they lead to concrete actions. This sub-section presents the collaborative initiatives that can be made public and helps to explain how a shared objective is transformed into a programme, an educational initiative, support or observable results.

Each partnership presented is summarised briefly: context, shared objective, measures implemented, contributions from the parties involved, key lessons learnt and future prospects. The information is published in accordance with the authorisations, confidentiality agreements and communication rules agreed with the partners.

A public-sector partnership

An active partnership focused on professional capacity-building

As part of a partnership with the AF-CNSS, the IIRCF is helping to roll out a capacity-building programme designed to support the professional development of beneficiaries across several areas relating to the exercise of responsibilities, management, ethics and professional duties.

An initial training course on professional leadership helped to structure a programme combining methodological input, case studies, the sharing of experiences and assessment. This first stage demonstrated the value of a progressive approach combining knowledge acquisition, practical application and educational support.

The cooperation is continuing with a new cohort focusing on professional ethics and confidentiality, organised online to facilitate participation given the beneficiaries’ work commitments. This continuity illustrates a partnership approach based on several complementary programmes rather than a one-off intervention.

Our publication policy

What we publish, and what we keep quiet about

What we are seeking to highlight

When a partnership is publicised, the aim is not simply to display logos or list activities. The aim is to demonstrate what the cooperation has helped to achieve: a more appropriate response, strengthened skills, a better-structured system, a transferred capacity, or a prospect for development made possible by the complementary strengths of the partners.

Confidentiality remains a priority

Some collaborations cannot be disclosed publicly. In such cases, the IIRCF strictly adheres to confidentiality clauses and refrains from disclosing any information that could identify the organisation, its teams or details relating to the mission. Where relevant and authorised, only aggregated or anonymised results may be shared.

A section set to grow

As new public partnerships are established and results can be documented, this page will be updated with new case studies. It will thus serve as a showcase for cooperation in action, complementing the news section and the pages dedicated to the IIRCF’s results.
