Publications and resources

Expertise-based resources to inform practices and support action

What you’ll find there

The Institute’s documentary and technical database

The IIRCF’s publications and resources are designed to provide professionals, managers and organisations with structured knowledge on the issues that are transforming their professions, their responsibilities and their working environments.

Drawing on areas of excellence, expert analysis and lessons learnt from training and support activities, they enable readers to explore issues in greater depth, provide methodological guidance and offer access to tools that can be applied in professional practice.

The forms our resources take

Studies and reports

Studies and reports enable an in-depth examination of an issue, a professional development trend or an organisational challenge. They bring together analyses, findings, lessons learnt and courses of action to provide readers with a structured understanding of the topics covered and useful guidance to inform their practices or decisions.

Guides and reference materials

Guides and reference frameworks translate expertise into frameworks that can be put to immediate use. They may specify the skills required, structure a process, clarify responsibilities or set out standards of practice. Their purpose is to facilitate the adoption of consistent methods and to support long-term professional development.

Technical notes and expert reports

Technical notes address more specific needs. They serve to shed light on a particular issue, analyse a trend, clarify a method or summarise key points on a specialist subject, in a format designed for quick reference and professional use.

Practical tools and resources

Analysis grids, frameworks, checklists, methodological guides, templates and decision-making tools complement the expert content. These resources are designed to support the transition from understanding to action and to facilitate the application of methods in real-world work situations.

Teaching resources

Educational resources extend the learning process beyond the training sessions. They enable learners to revise a concept, develop a skill in greater depth, consolidate what they have learnt, or continue their professional development, either independently or with support.

The rankings

Knowledge organised by area of expertise

The content is organised according to the IIRCF’s Areas of Excellence so that each user can quickly access the resources most relevant to their profession, responsibilities or professional development needs. This structure also facilitates the gradual development of a coherent document database, which is enriched as the Institute’s work and activities progress.

Content designed for use

The aim is not to accumulate documents, but to make knowledge available that offers a clear benefit. Each publication should help to improve understanding of an issue, structure an approach, inform a decision, strengthen a skill or improve professional practice.
